I am practically a Colorado Native, as I was born in Minnesota but spent my teenage years and beyond here in the beautiful mountain air! I received my Bachelors of the Fine Arts from Colorado State University with my Certification to teach from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I have been an art educator in Denver Public Schools since 2010 and I love bringing joy, building confidence and spreading the creative spirit through the process of art-making. In my own time, I enjoy dancing, crafting, painting, playing games and spending time with my husband, my son and our three dogs: Naes, Electra and Sassy.
