| This week at DCIS at Fairmont we had another awesome overnight! Our 2nd graders went to Schweiger Ranch, visited the Colorado Ballet, and spent the night in our very own school! We had a ton of fun. Also be aware we have two big events this week – World Music Festival and our living Meow Wolf exhibit. See below for more information. This week students will complete lesson 27, on Taking Mindfulness With You. This next months of lessons will be around closure and getting ready to go into the summer.. See the parent letters for ways you can incorporate work around Mindfulness learning at home! | DCIS Yearbook/ Anuario DCIS | Remember the 2024 school year by ordering our first ever, student-made yearbook! Scan the QR code to pay $10, or pay $15 to support the school Art department. | DCIS becomes Meow Wolf/ DCIS se convierte en Meow Wolf | Come see your students’ artwork on May 10th 3-4 PM in the Art room at our school! Our students have been working hard all month to set up a Meow Wolf-style exhibit in our very own Art Room — meet mystical creatures, walk under colorful clouds, and crawl through some spooky forts! Every class has contributed something to this collaborative project. Our 24- 25 principal, Cesar Sanchez, will also be present for this event! He is looking forward to meeting students and families, and getting to know the community. | ¡Ven a ver las obras de arte de tus estudiantes el 10 de mayo de 3 a 4 p. m. en el salón de arte de nuestra escuela! Nuestros estudiantes han estado trabajando duro todo el mes para montar una exhibición estilo Meow Wolf en nuestra propia Sala de Arte: ¡conoce criaturas místicas, camina bajo nubes coloridas y gatea a través de fuertes espeluznantes! | MEDICATION PICK UP/ RECOGER MEDICAMENTOS | All medications and medical equipment must be picked up from the school health office at the end of the school year. Please make a plan with your school nurse or health office staff for pickup on the last day of school. Medications cannot go home with your student. Medications will be disposed of if not picked up by the end of the school day on 6/5. Please visit LINK here for more details.
