| I’m Chris Landis, my pronouns are he/him/his, and I am excited to be working with intermediate students in Math next year. It will be my 9th year in education and with DPS; I have worked in bilingual schools/classes teaching K-5 SpEd, 5th Grade, 4/5 Math Intervention, and have been an STL for 4 of those years. My first school was Colfax Elementary, not far from Fairmont. I am excited to get to work with Fairmont students full time next year as I have missed having my own classroom. When I am not teaching, I like to be outside roller blading, flying kites, gardening and doing house projects. When the weather is not so good (like today), you can catch me inside reading fantasy and sci fi novels. I grew up in New Jersey, outside Philadelphia, where my family still lives.
Hola, me llamo Chris Landis, mi pronombre es él, y estoy emocionado de trabajar con estudiantes de 4to y 5to Grado en Matemáticas el próximo año. Será mi noveno año en educación y con Denver Public Schools; He trabajado en escuelas bilingües enseñando Educación Especial, 5to Grado, Intervention en Matemáticas, y he sido un STL durante 4 de esos años con un enfoque en matemáticas. Mi primera escuela fue la primaria Colfax, cerca de Fairmont. Estoy emocionado de trabajar con los estudiantes de Fairmont a tiempo completo el próximo año porque he extrañado tener mi propio salón de clases. Cuando no estoy enseñando, me gusta andar en patines, volar cometas, hacer jardinería y hacer proyectos de la casa. Cuando el clima no es tan bueno (como hoy), puedes encontrarme adentro leyendo novelas de fantasía y ciencia ficción. Crecí en Nueva Jersey, donde todavía vive mi familia. ¡Nos vemos en Agosto, y que tengan un buen verano! |
