Hello! My name is Eimy Galindo. I am from Colombia, and I have been teaching for eight years. This is my sixth-year teaching in this country and my first year teaching in Denver. I am B.A. in English and obtained a Master’s in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Greensboro College. I really enjoy seeing my second graders grow every day and how they improve their language. I love my job and inspiring my students to forge their dreams and goals for the future. There is nothing more rewarding for me than seeing them succeed in their expectations for this school year. I also love painting, reading, outdoor activities, and watching things related to history, Marvel movies, and rom-coms. I have a beautiful 3 years old-daughter and I am very close to my family and friends. Sharing time with them is the most important thing to me.
