My name is Kate Garcia and this will be my second year at DCIS. I am originally from New Mexico but I have lived in various states and countries. I got my undergraduate in Elementary Education from Arizona State University and my master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Texas at Arlington.
I met my husband while teaching in Honduras and we have three beautiful children. I enjoy spending time with them outside riding bikes, roller blading and walking our husky, Sasha.
Mi nombre es Kate García y este será mi segundo año en DCIS. Soy originario de Nuevo México pero he vivido en varios estados y países. Obtuve mi licenciatura en Educación Primaria de la Universidad Arizona State y mi maestría en Currículo e Instrucción de la Universidad de Texas en Arlington.
Conocí a mi esposo mientras enseñaba en Honduras y tenemos tres hermosos hijos. Disfruto pasar tiempo con ellos afuera andando en bicicleta, patinando y paseando a nuestro husky, Sasha.
