Hello everyone! My name is Leonardo Castañeda Andrade, I am from Colombia, and I am 33 years old. Sharing time with my 3-year-old daughter and wife is my favorite activity! This is my 7th year teaching; I have taught ESL in North Carolina for the last five years. I have a B.A. in English and a M.A. in TESOL.
Teaching languages is my passion; by learning a language, the students would get a vehicle to know the world and become global citizens. I am excited to be part of the DCIS at Fairmont family and get to know all my students to have significant learning experiences! My teaching philosophy is that every child should be introduced to the tools they need to establish their own learning style, and no one is to be left behind. I believe that every child has the potential to learn and grow, and I am dedicated to helping my students reach their full potential.
