Welcome DCIS at Fairmont parents and students! My name is Nicole Ceballos, and I am the special education ELA-S teacher. I was born and raised in Panama, and I lived in New Jersey for the last 6 years. In Panama I taught music and in New Jersey I had the opportunity to work in special education and bilingual education. I graduated with my B.A in Inclusive Education from Rowan University, and I am really passionate about teaching. My goal is to create a safe learning environment for all my students where our differences are strengths that enrich our classroom and school. I want to collaborate with my students and families to help students succeed through education.
A little bit about myself… I love the outdoors and traveling. I enjoy reading (I own too many books), and taking care of my plants. And one of my favorite things is ice cream!
