Veraliz, also called Verita by her students, was born and raised in Colombia, South America. She has been a teacher for more than 20 years with experience mostly in Kindergarten. Verita loves to teach Kindergarten because she believes in children having fun as they learn about the world around them! She is married, and she has 24-yr old twin adult boys. Verita moved from Bogota, Colombia to Denver last year and she has really treasured working for DPS and learning about the educational system in the USA. She has also liked learning about Colorado, traveling to the mountains and appreciating the outdoors. She loves living in Denver because she thinks Denver’s weather is the best… living four well-defined seasons is awesome! Verita’s priority is her family, she likes reading children’s literature, watching baseball and absolutely adores cats!
