Viltė is excited to be a new member of DCIS at Fairmont as the Visual Arts teacher! Growing up in the Lithuanian-American community of the Chicago suburbs, Viltė developed a multilingual and multicultural approach to life and learning. Her love of art and language led Vilte to pursue her undergraduate degrees in Cinematic Arts and Spanish. She furthered her education with the Teach For America Launch Fellowship and Relay Graduate School of Education in Denver, where she worked as a 4th grade English Language Arts teacher. Viltė loves to spend her free time experimenting with photography, textiles, and food. She also loves to spend time in nature with her partner and cats.
